Mohammed Azharuddin
Mohammed Azharuddin had been an accomplished right-hand batsman with his own sinewy wrist style. Azhar was borne on 8th day of February in 1963, in city of Hyderabad, UP, India. He was selected in Indian Cricket Team in 1984 and played his first Test match against England in Kolkata, on Jan 5, 1985.

Azhar enthralled the spectators by hitting three consecutive centuries in his first three debut test matches. This of his first record has not been broken by any of the player in the world.

Azhar had been the most successful captain of Indian cricket team of his time (1990s). He made several records and most of them are still intact. He kept playing as a champ until year 2000, when he was stranded in a match fixing allegation and had to quit cricket under a ban. BCCI lifted the ban in the year 2006.

Azhar played 99 Test matches, 334 One Day Internationals (ODIs), 229 First-Class matches, and 432 List A matches.

He played his last Test match against South Africa in Bangalore in March, 2000.
