Moradabad: His team won the Indian Parliamentary League and he won his first political match. Former Indian cricket team skipper Mohammed Azharuddin, who won from Moradabad on Congress candidate spoke to Network18 on his victory.
"Going from Hyderabad to Moradabad and winning was not easy. I worked hard and the hard work paid off. Sangeeta also had put in a lot of hard work," said Azharuddin.
Azhar revealed that initially he wasn't interested in contesting election but just in campaigning for the Congress party.
